It’s hard keeping things like this to myself especially when you see the “futures of tomorrow” wasting their lives being caught up in the moment. It wasn’t until recently that I realized the extent of this pressing issue. I hear about how 5th graders got expelled for smoking weed in the bathroom but I figured that it’s their problem so I overlooked it. I can’t even go to the library for peace and quiet for 5 minutes after class gets out because the library suddenly floods with 12, 13, 14 year olds dressed like they don’t have homes and the girls were dressing too promiscuous for their age and they were conversing and cursing like sailors. Out of the corner of my eye, a old man shook his head and I instantly felt bad because this is the generation that I grew up in.
