Life. Short. Simple.

Tonight was nothing short of a miracle.. Some people say that when your life is about to end, you see white light and voices talking to you — that wasn’t the case for me. It was on the slopes of a mountain so the only light was the one being emitted from my headlights. The next couple seconds were unexpected but I assure you, life and death situations happens at the snap of a finger. Disorientated and helpless, I thought I was good as gone when it happened but I suddenly snapped out of it when I heard the thundering echo of crushed metal and broken glass. Dazed and confused I stumbled out to find that the only thing that’s keeping me from death are two trees that acted as a safety net from the dark and cold concrete several hundred feet down — waiting to envelope me. The reason this got posted was because it’s life-changing event to be able to stare death in the face for a couple of seconds only to be given the chance of living. Moral of this story is that at any given moment, everything that you’ve own, everything that you’ve done and every face that you’ve met.. are you willing to end things on such short notice? After tonight, I know that I’m not and the reason I’m alive today is because there’s a greater plan for me so until I find out what it is, I gotta keep living each day as if it’s my last.
